Construction is scheduled for October 2006. Duration
of the entire project construction will be 24 months.
Plots are of a standard size of 605 sq.m. and all properties
are free-standing, 1-storey, and there are two types on offer.
It is possible to put the Mahoe or the Tamarind on any
plot but the Tamarind, with the larger balcony, costs
an extra £10,000.
The property growth rate was around 8% for some years but
has been growing at about 15% for the last couple of years.
BayView should exceed these figures because of the lack of
similar property on the island and because the prices are
very competitive.
An Alien Landholding license is required to purchase a property
and/or land etc. and agreements to purchase property are continent
upon such a license being granted by the Government to the
purchaser.
There is a builder warranty on the property for the first
year, at the end of that the builder will remediate all required
repairs, and in addition there is a 10 year structural warranty.
